The Kōmos is an ancient procession in honor of Dionysus, a ritual celebrating life from which all dramatic forms originated.

 

For us, kōmos is a symbol of building community through the practice of art, a symbol of transgression that leads to understanding and strengthening interpersonal bonds.

 

At the Komos Foundation, we strongly believe that direct meetings, activities, and face-to-face conversations are the fundamental antidote to the times of chaos in which we live.
